About Amelia
Born in McDonough, Georgia, Amelia Lenz (she/they) is a writer, poet, proofreader, and student. She is currently based out of Decatur, GA, where she studies Creative Writing, English Literature, and Spanish at Agnes Scott College. Her areas of interest in research are literary representations of otherness and the differences between book and movie adaptations.
Amelia presently works part-time at Nichole Reynolds Law LLC and was formerly a staff writer for the Simply Soft Skills blog. She hopes to follow her passion of editing and proofreading as a career, as it is a significant amount of her responsibilities there. She also excels in written communication and has excellent communication abilities.
Amelia's poetry has been published in several periodicals, such as the Agnes Scott student literary journal, Cathartic Lit, and astrea zine. Despite her love of poetry, she also enjoys writing non-fiction, long and short form fiction, and both. Her goal is to write and publish a best-selling book someday.
