About Me
Hello! My name is Aigner Muschette, a junior at Agnes Scott College. I am a Psychology major, and I am minoring in English Lit. I am from Washington D.C, and will be based there once I graduate in Winter 2025. Currently, I am working on-campus in the Center for Digital and Visual Literacy, where I serve as a Peer Learning Assistant.

My Path
George Washington Early College Program (GWECP)
During my Junior and Senior year of high school (2020-2022) I had the privilege of participating in a Dual Enrollment program with George Washington University. In my time at GWU, I took completed 60 credits, enough so that I would earn an Associate's Degree in General Studies. Here I discovered my love for linguistics and language learning in my Korean classes, and was introduced to many great books and poems in my English and American literature classes. It was here that I had the opportunity to present my research on the politics and history of Black women's hair, the products of which are on this site!

In 2024, I was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Alpha Alpha (also known as Tri-Alpha) Honor Society, which centers first generation students.

Agnes Scott College
As I mentioned above, I am currently attending Agnes Scott College, pursuing a degree in Psychology and minor degree in English Literature. I'm interested in going into Industrial Organizational Psychology, which is used in more corporate settings; IO Psychologists are often grouped in with or may have the same responsibilities as one working in Human Resources. I was introduced to the business world at a very young age through my grandmothers, who both worked in the Department of Transportation. Due to this, and personal experiences in the workforce, I want to dedicate my professional career to improving the wellbeing and satisfaction of people at work.

Agnes Scott has a tradition where Sophomores earn a class ring; this is me after receiving mine in 2024!
